A paper, co-authored with Mark Latonero, which explores the social implications of network performance, has just been accepted for presentation at the International Communication Association (ICA) conference to take place in Chicago, May 21-25, 2009. This is a great sign that clearly shows that network performance is starting to interest groups outside of the music world.

Connecting several sites and enabling distributed performances is only one aspect of network performance. We need to find ways to offer the performers and the audience a chance to navigate through the different nodes scattered over the network and allow a morphing of several acoustic environments into one unique environment.
